Bonus Episode: RD's Speech to CFI Michigan

Back in June the doubtcasters were invited by CFI Michigan to give a presentation about the podcast. Here is a recording of that speech entitled "Reasonable Doubts: Answering the Apologists." It's an overview of the show's content including our favorite topics from past episodes.

How is this a bonus episode? You owe us one from last week!

It was either this or nothing, so in that sense its a bonus.

Hello, I have just come across your podcast. I didn't know we had a freethinker group broadcasting from GR. Very cool.

You have a new listener.

In the interview you mention your main competition is Dan Barker and the Freethought Radio Podcast. I subscribe to both, and RD is best by far. To borrow an analogy of Paul, RD is the meat, whilst Freethought is just milk. Thanks for the great podcast guys, and especially the deeper and extended commentary instead of fluff.

I kid because I love! Your podcast is really excellent! Informative and funny and each bears multiple listens. Thanks for doing such a good job.

Just so you know, I really did download and listen to all of the backlog episodes. So there's at least one of the 7000 some odd listeners who contributed to that total number.

Hello,

Is there a link for the Logos YouTube video?

Thanks,

This is, I believe, the only time all three of us have been photographed together.

If I'm not mistaken, it is also only the second time in history that Luke has been photographed at all.

Truly a momentous occasion.

Dave,

I actually have some action shots of Luke from 4th of July couple years back. But Im saving them to blackmail him, if ever necessarily.

Jean-Michel,
here is the LOGOS link. But its better (but even longer) listening to it on episode 11.

On the subject of Doc Prof Luke.

While sitting at work today in Melbourne, Australia, I was listening to the podcast Everyday Ethics from the BBC, Radio Ulster, when the good doctor is introduced in order to discuss his profile's of the godless.

Three cheers for the internet

Loved this episode (I'm a bit behind as I only get time to listen to podcasts when I get to my allotment - ah well). It reminded me of RD20 was it? The first one I listened to anyhow and I could smell the campfire smoke. Right then I decided you guys were the sort of good folk I'd like to know. Of course, I've since listened to lots of your snarky episodes and realized I was hoodwinked. Too late, I was hooked :*)

Just recently subscribed to this podcast and have gone back to listen to older ones. I was just listening to this one and noticed you mentioned countries where you have listeners and ended with Texas.

You're right, most of your Texas listeners are probably in Austin, but I'm in Houston... and I might be the only one left alive. I feel like I'm in Shaun of the dead, the part where they try to blend in with the Zombies.

I love your show. Keep it up, and thank you for the voice in the dark.
