Props to the title you gave this episode, Jeremy. A stroke of genius.

Well, you can tell Ms. Lalli that she made at least one book sale with this podcast. Thanks! She's a bright and thoughtful woman.

(And I got a slight jolt when I first saw the Word Verification: "exordis." You can imagine how I first read it. :)

Funny, when I was growing up in a fundamentalist Christian household, my parents saw Star Wars as religious - but in a bad way. The force was very New Age / very Eastern Mysticism. The force permeates us, and we can control it - like magic. It struck me as funny the first time I heard people describe Star Wars as being pro-Christian, because it was always an "anti-Christian" movie when I was growing up.

Funny how people can see things in all different and contradictory ways.

How do I listen to this podcast? When I follow the link to download this or previous podcasts it is missing from the list.

I don't want to gush too much but I love the podcast. I just found it last week and I listen while I work (unloading trucks). So keep up the good work.

You said in an earlier episode you were looking for the right woman to come along to become the female member of the podcast. I vote for Nica Lalli. She'd be great. Doesn't matter that she doesn't live in Grand Rapids. That's what Skype is for. Skeptics Guide podcasters never get together to record.

I agree, Nica would be a great addition to the show. And while we could bring in someone via phone or internet one of the things that we feel separates us from other podcasts is the fact that we don't take the Skype route. Hopefully that helps make our audio a little bit cleaner and I think you get a different level of interaction when we're all in the same room.

We may be doing more phone interviews and such but I think for the time being we like all of the Doubtcasters to be in the same room.

So, you convince Nica to move to Grand Rapids and we're all set.
